Of Dirt Pies and Curly Hair

A couple of weeks back during lunch break, I tilled the ground under the fir tree so the kiddos could have a little loose dirt to play in. After work, I went out to see them and to participate in their fun. Annika, in a very animated manner explained to me that she was, “making a pie.” “But you can’t have it yet,” she said, “it has raw eggs in it and I need to cook it first.” Very sharp, that precious girl.

It sure is hard topping being a papa at times like that above!

Annika and Benson also helped us out with our little applesauce project.

 

 

 

Now comes the part about the hair. Yes, Elissa’s hair does get curly when it is wet!
